Kristen Adam is a print and pattern designer, and illustrator of bedtime story collection Secrets of the Forest (2023), and picture books The Secret of Fall (2024) and The Urban Owls (2025). She is inspired by the weird and wonderful natural world, and loves using her art to promote environmental awareness. When she's not wandering the woods looking for wildflowers, she loves star gazing, reading

sci-fi/fantasy novels, and snuggling with her dog, Charlie.
